Upgrading the Wastewater Treatment Plant for U. S. Steel Košice

In a pivotal endeavor, we revamped and modernized the central wastewater treatment facility serving U. S. Steel Košice. This facility is instrumental in treating the wastewater stemming from the metallurgical processes of the U. S. Steel company.

Our mission was twofold: to both rejuvenate and modernize the existing infrastructure, and to introduce new technological components. These enhancements were meticulously designed to boost the plant’s wastewater treatment capacity and ensure the purified water met the stringent quality benchmarks set for its release into the environment. The contract was expertly handled by SAM offering a comprehensive EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solution. This encompassed everything from the initial design phase, through to the hands-on execution, culminating in a successful commissioning.
