At leading CEE refinery – SLOVNAFT Bratislava, we undertook the distinctive task of replacing the F1 furnace within Atmospheric Distillation Unit 5. The new furnace was skilfully assembled on-site from prefabricated components, well in advance of the unit’s general overhaul.
Upon decommissioning, the legacy furnace was meticulously segmented into four sections using a water disc. Using a formidable 750-ton belt crane, the newly crafted furnace was then precisely positioned onto the original base and seamlessly integrated with the existing infrastructure.
