Crafting a 77-Ton
Exchanger

Crafting a 77-Ton Exchanger for BORSODCHEM, Hungary

For BORSODCHEM in Hungary, we were entrusted with the manufacturing of multiple exchangers in varied sizes. The biggest in size was a colossal 77-ton exchanger, with others weighing roughly half of that. The project took one year, including preparation works, while the production itself required a concentrated effort of 8 months. Tube-to-tube sheet welding was utilized using an orbital head, ensuring precision and consistency. In contrast, the heat exchangers´ shell was crafted using semi-automatic welding machines. Every weld underwent a rigorous 100% X-ray inspection, reaffirming our commitment to the highest standards. Leveraging passivation techniques, we ensured durability and resistance against corrosion.

Our dedication to precision, quality, and timely delivery was on full display in this project, attesting to our unmatched expertise in the industry.
