Foundation and Evolution
Roots in Slovak Shipbuilding
The tale of SAM is intricately woven with the shipbuilding legacy of Komárno. The ancient shipyards on the Danube River, originally established in Komárno during the medieval period, provide a historical backdrop to our story. It was in 1898, during the Austro-Hungarian era, that the region witnessed the establishment of a contemporary shipyard known as the Slovak Shipyard. As the years rolled on, by 2013, this shipbuilding giant integrated into the SAM INDUSTRIES fold.
Diverse Operations
Bratislava arm of SAM INDUSTRIES is recognized for its unparalleled production of pressure vessels, boasting a design lineage dating back to 1960. The Bratislava operation became an integral part of our story in 2004.
Liptovský Mikuláš Division is specializing in water management technologies since 1997 bringing a wealth of knowledge to SAM INDUSTRIES. Integrated into our enterprise in 2013, the seasoned professionals here have been pioneers in the domain for over two decades.
